The Leninogorsky forestry enterprise stocked 3240 kg of seeds of the main forest-forming species
This year, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan "Leninogorsky forestry" exceeded the plan for the procurement of seeds of the main forest-forming species. According to the acting director of the forestry enterprise Ruslan Kulichkov, in total, the specialists collected 3240 kg of seeds. Of these, pine - 15 kg, birch - 225 kg and oak - 3000 kg.
"In total, according to the plan, it was necessary to procure 275 kilograms of seeds of forest plants," Ruslan Kulichkov said. "The plan was exceeded due to the high yield of oak. All seeds were tested at the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. They were awarded the first and second quality classes. Some of the acorns were sown in the fall in the basic forest nursery."
