The harvesting of seeds of the main forest-forming species continues in the Republic of Tatarstan
In the Republic of Tatarstan, the harvesting of seeds of the main forest-forming species continues. According to specialists of the Department of Forest Reproduction and Afforestation of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of November 16 of this year, 19.1 thousand kg of seeds were collected, of which pine - 378 kg, spruce - 207 kg, larch - 22 kg, birch, and linden - 1.1 thousand kg, oak - 17.4 thousand kg.
Among the leaders in seed procurement are Mamadyshsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky, Leninogorsky, and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic.
It should be reminded that the harvesting of seeds of forest plants is an additional indicator of the regional project "Preservation of Forests in the Republic of Tatarstan" within the framework of the federal project "Preservation of Forests" of the national project "Ecology". According to the project, this year it was necessary to procure at least 11.4 thousand kg of seeds.
