In 2021, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, with the help of the Lubyanka Forestry College and the Kazan State Agrarian University, intensified work in educational institutions to develop the movement of school forestries.

Today in the Republic of Tatarstan there are 115 school forestries, in which 1540 children and adolescents are engaged. Recently, 5 new associations have been created in the Leninogorsk and Spassk municipal districts. The average age of the pupils is 14 years. Each school forestry has a teacher-teacher and a curator from a subordinate institution of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, who conduct theoretical and practical classes for students.

One of the important achievements of 2021 is the renewal of the tradition of holding meetings of school forestries. This year, the rally was held from July 29 to July 31 in the village of Lubyany, Kukmorsky municipal district. The event was attended by over 90 people from 31 school forestry of the republic. Note that the forum was organized following the sanitary and epidemiological rules of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare and the requirements of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
