The Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District discussed the issues of forest inventory work in 2022

Today, the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District hosted a videoconference meeting on forest management in 2022. It was chaired by the deputy head of the department Anton Trifonov.

The event was attended by representatives of forestry management bodies of the Volga Federal District, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Leading Advisor to the Department of State Forest Register, Forest Use, and Forest Inventory of the Ministry Vasily Chernov.

Short reports at the meeting were made by Anton Trifonov, Deputy Head of the Forestry Department in the Volga Federal District, and Inna Zhandildinova, Head of the Land Relations and Forest Inventory Department of the Federal Forestry Agency. They talked about the main provisions of the Federal Law of 02.07.2021 No. 304-FZ "On Amendments to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and Articles 14 and 16 of the Federal Law "On General Principles of Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation" and answered questions from the videoconference participants.

Also during the meeting, the proposals of the regional forest management bodies regarding the objects of forest management work, the timing of the formation of the forest management plan at the federal level, etc. were discussed.
