In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of December 7 of this year, sanitary and recreational activities were carried out on an area of 3.3 thousand hectares, including the harvesting of illiquid wood - on 2.7 thousand hectares. High rates of work are demonstrated by the employees of the Educational-Experienced Sabinsky, Kaleikinsky, Isleitarsky, and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic.
Recall that sanitary and recreational activities are part of the complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out to preserve the biological stability of plantings, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
