The Ministry hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Nizhny Novgorod region
Today the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov met with the Deputy Minister of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Eduard Leontyev. The meeting was attended by the heads of the structural divisions of the Ministry Ramil Gilmashin, Fanil Akhmadullin, Alexey Mosunov, and others.
During the meeting, issues of digital transformation of the forestry industry, the introduction of new systems and services were discussed.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov briefed the audience on the progress of digitalization of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. He spoke about the developed and implemented in the republic the Geoinformation system of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan and the service for monitoring and controlling the state of the forest fund based on remote sensing data. “These systems make it possible to automate the accounting and management of forest resources, timely identify changes, including illegal felling of forest stands, areas with forest pathology,” noted Ilgizar Zaripov.
“This year, a project was implemented to transfer public services provided by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan into electronic form,” added the first deputy minister. “Among them are the provision of extracts from the state forest register, the acceptance of forest declarations and reports on the use of forests, the provision of forest plots for free use, for rent based on the results of an auction and without holding a tender.”
