On the territory of the forest fund of the Aznakaevsky forestry, work has been completed to improve the sanitary condition of forest plantations. According to Eduard Chikurov, director of the State Budgetary Institution of RT "Aznakaevsky forestry", sanitary and health-improving measures were carried out on an area of 96 hectares, including the harvesting of illiquid wood - on 60 hectares.
"Next year, such work will be carried out on an area of 100 hectares. We plan to start in April," he added.
Recall that sanitary and recreational activities are part of the complex of forest protection measures. They are carried out to preserve the biological stability of plantings, prevent the widespread development of pathological processes in the forest, and reduce damage from pests and diseases.
