The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the work and set tasks for 2022
Today the ministry held a meeting via videoconference on "The results of the Forestry Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan and its subordinate institutions in 2021 and the tasks for 2022". It was held by Ravil Kuzyurov, Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was attended by Deputy Ministers, administrative managers, heads of structural subdivisions of the Ministry, heads of forestries, district foresters, directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
The reports were made by Deputy Minister of Forestry Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, and head of the department of civil service and staff Elvira Ziyatdinova.
The First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov told about the execution of the state task to perform a set of works on protection, protection, and regeneration of forests in 2021. So, works on forest regeneration were carried out on the area of 4,2 thousand hectares, establishing protective forest plantations - on 3,4 thousand hectares, the addition of forest cultures - on the area of 4,2 thousand hectares, agrotechnical care of forest cultures - on 14,3 thousand hectares, sowing of seeds in basic forest nurseries - on 23 hectares, soil preparation for next year forest cultures - on the area of 1,4 thousand hectares.
Also during the year, 40.2 tons of seeds of main forest forming species were stocked and 34.1 million pieces of standard planting material were grown. Experts of Aznakaevsky, Aksubaevsky, Almetyevsky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Bilyarsky, Bugulminsky, Zainsky, Kaybitsky, Kaleikinsky, Kamsky, Kyzyl-Yulduzsky, Laishevsky, Leninogorsky, Mamadyshsky, Menzelinsky, Nurlatsky, Tetyushsky, and Cheremshansky forestry enterprises of the republic exceeded the plan on the preparation of seeds.
To ensure sanitary safety in forests in Tatarstan works on forest pathology examination on the area of 40.9 thousand hectares were performed, sanitary measures - on the area of 3.5 thousand hectares, including the removal of illiquid wood - 2.8 thousand hectares.
Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov focused on the issues of labor protection, compliance with preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, timber supply to the republic, efficient operation of the machinery park, and the results of financial and economic activities of subordinated institutions for the year 2021. He reported that next year funding will be increased for several activities carried out by forestry enterprises within the state task. In particular, it is the protection of forests from fires and carrying out work to take care of forests.
Elvira Ziyatdinova acquainted the attendees with the results of the analysis of the information provided this year about income, expenditures, property, and liabilities.
Ravil Kuzyurov, the Head of the Ministry of Forestry of the RT, summed up the results of the meeting. He gave several instructions to the heads of subordinate organizations, connected with implementation of forest cultivation, forest protection, forestry works, the realization of the federal state forest control (supervision), forest protection, careful exploitation of machinery, etc.
"It is necessary to strengthen the work on prevention and detection of violations of forest legislation, focusing on the prevention of offenses," said Ravil Kuzyurov. "I also ask everyone to pay special attention to digitalization. Digital transformation of the forestry complex is in full swing in the Republic of Tatarstan, some services and systems have been implemented, conversion of state services provided by the Ministry into electronic form. We have other large-scale tasks in this direction, we must go forward according to the trends of the time."
"In general, 2021 was not an easy year, but we have achieved all the set objectives," the Minister added. "Together we will achieve even better results. Good health, happiness, prosperity, and success to all."
At the end of the meeting, awards were given to the winners of the republican contest among the institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Forestry of the RT "Head and chairman of the trade union organization - social partners in labor".
