Today in the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District, a final meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District was held. The meeting was held in videoconference mode under the chairmanship of the head of the department, Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and the head of the forestry protection and protection sector of the Ministry Alexey Mosunov.
During the meeting, the results of the fire hazardous season in the forests in the subjects of the Volga Federal District, the implementation of the federal project "Preservation of Forests" within the framework of the national project "Ecology" were discussed and the tasks for the next year were considered.
"I ask everyone to pay special attention to the preparation for the fire hazardous period of 2022," stressed Alexander Ornatsky. "First of all, this concerns the development of consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires. A schedule for the approval of these documents will be drawn up. Secondly, it is necessary to keep under special control the issues of equipping forest fire stations, purchasing the necessary equipment and inventory."
