Today, the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District hosted a videoconference meeting on the implementation of the Federal Law of 04.02.2021 No. З-ФЗ “On Amendments to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation in terms of improving the legal regulation of forest relations”. The event was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry, heads of forestry forestries, directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
The meeting participants were greeted by the Head of the Forestry Department for the Volga Federal District Alexander Ornatsky, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency Vyacheslav Spirenkov, and Minister of Forestry and Wildlife Protection of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Roman Vorobyov.
The main report at the meeting was made by the chief analyst of the Federal State Budgetary Institution Roslesinforg, the head of the permanent project group of the Federal Forestry Agency for the implementation of the provisions of the Federal Law of 04.02.2021 No. З-ФЗ on the turnover of wood and wood products, Alexander Mariev. In his speech, the speaker touched upon the issues of work in the Unified State Automated Information System for Timber Accounting and Transactions, the execution of electronic accompanying documents for the transportation of timber, reports on timber imported into the warehouse, and harvesting, turnover, and accounting of timber.
Alexander Mariev also spoke about the developed LeEGAIS mobile application, the first results of its testing, and the possibilities of installation from the App Store and Google Play platforms.
Recall that by subparagraph 4 of paragraph 6 of Article 4 of the Federal Law of 04.02.2021 No. 3-FZ “On Amendments to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation in terms of improving the legal regulation of forest relations” from January 1, 2022, accompanying documents for the transportation of timber will be generated exclusively in electronic form using LesEGAIS, information on the termination of such an accompanying document will be entered into the specified information system.
