Dear colleagues and veterans of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan!
On behalf of the staff of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan and on my own behalf, I cordially congratulate you on the upcoming New Year 2022!
The outgoing year has become in many ways a turning point for forestry specialists. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the state forestry management body of the Republic of Tatarstan, faced new challenges related to amendments to forestry legislation, setting a course for the digital transformation of the forestry industry, climate change - abnormally dry conditions in the spring and summer.
Despite this, we have coped with all the tasks set. In 2021, in Tatarstan, within the framework of the federal project “Preservation of Forests” of the national project “Ecology”, reforestation works were carried out on an area of 4,210 hectares, 40.2 tons of seeds of the main forest-forming species were harvested and 34.1 million pieces of standard planting material were grown. I want to emphasize that the total area of work performed on reforestation and afforestation in the republic amounted to 7769 hectares. Thanks to the completed set of fire-prevention measures, control, and well-coordinated interaction of all structures and organizations, we managed to reduce to a minimum the threat of the occurrence and spread of forest fires and thereby avoid large losses. Other works were carried out aimed at preventing violations of forest legislation, improving the sanitary and forest pathological state of forests, strengthening their environmental and protective functions.
I would also like to dwell on the results of digitalization of the forestry industry - this year the state services provided by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan were transferred to electronic form. All 10 government services were digitized. The implementation of this project made it possible to increase the satisfaction of citizens with public services and reduce the costs of business when interacting with the state.
Undoubtedly, the basis of all the achievements is the persistent, selfless work of the workers of the forestry complex. I sincerely thank each of you for your dedication to your work, responsibility, and well-coordinated, fruitful work for the benefit of our native republic. I would like to express special words of gratitude to the veterans of the industry, whose efforts have laid a solid foundation for the stable development of the forestry sector.
An equally eventful new 2022 is ahead. We plan to continue working on the digital transformation of the forestry complex of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also among the priority tasks is the high-quality execution of the state task for the implementation of measures for the protection, protection, and reproduction of forests, updating the material and technical base of subordinate institutions, equipping existing and creating new forest fire stations, improving the working conditions of industry specialists.
