Minister of Natural Resources, Forestry and Ecology of the Perm Territory Dmitry Belanovich got acquainted with the work of the forest fire station of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”

Today, as part of a working trip to the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister of Natural Resources, Forestry and Ecology of the Perm Territory, Dmitry Belanovich, visited the forest fire station of the III type of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”, located in the city of Laishevo, Laishevsky municipal district. During the examination, he was accompanied by the head of the department of state control and supervision of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Akhmerov and the head of the forest fire station Farhat Abdullin.

Dmitry Belanovich assessed the equipment of the forest fire station, inspected the fire fighting equipment warehouse and other production facilities of the forest fire station.

During the meeting, Airat Akhmerov and Farhat Abdullin told the guest about the work being carried out in the Republic of Tatarstan to prevent the occurrence of forest fires, the monitoring of the fire situation carried out during the fire season, the complex of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests, etc.

In particular, Airat Akhmerov said that at present, fire safety in the forest in Tatarstan is provided by 20 type II forest fire stations at forestry enterprises and 5 types III forest fire stations at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”.

“There are 11 pieces of equipment at this station, including 3 fire trucks, as well as the necessary fire equipment and other special equipment for extinguishing forest fires. Following the “Consolidated plan for extinguishing forest fires on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan”, the territory served by this station is 267,000 hectares,” said Farhat Abdullin.
