Important information for forest users
The Federal Forestry Agency notifies of the entry into force, from March 1, 2022, of the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation dated August 25, 2021 No. 590 “On approval of the composition of the information included in the report on timber imported to the warehouse or exported from the warehouse”.
Following the provisions of paragraph 5 of the composition of the information included in the report, when generating a report on timber imported to the warehouse or exported from the warehouse, in the “Wood balance” section, it is necessary to fill in “Information on the current volume”, “Information on the estimated volume of wood when generating the report”, “Information on the actual wood residues during the inventory of wood”, “Information on the unbalance of wood”.
Because the inventory of wood storage sites is a long and laborious process, Rosleskhoz recommends organizing the inventory in advance and completing it no later than March 1, 2022, to avoid situations associated with the suspension of production processes due to the impossibility of generating reports on wood balance.
