In 2022, the insurance fund of forest plant seeds will be updated in the Republic of Tatarstan. In total, it is planned to prepare an additional 55 kg of seeds.

Recall that in such funds, seeds of the 1st quality class with high rates of germination energy, not infected with pests and without pathogenic microflora, are laid, mainly harvested at objects of a permanent forest seed base or in highly productive plantations.

The insurance fund of seeds of forest plants of the Republic of Tatarstan is located in the Leskhoz settlement of the Sabinsky municipal district. At present, the fund has 314.5 kg of coniferous seeds, including pine - 185.5 kg, spruce - 115 kg, larch - 14 kg.
