Today, the Department of Forestry for the Volga Federal District held a meeting of the headquarters for the coordination of activities to extinguish forest fires in the Volga Federal District. The meeting was held via videoconference chaired by the head of the department Alexander Ornatsky.
The event was attended by representatives of the forest management bodies of the district, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry Alexei Mosunov and others.
During the meeting, issues of preparation for the fire season in the forests, the development of consolidated plans for extinguishing forest fires, as well as timely reporting to the Forestry Department in the Volga Federal District were discussed.
Alexander Ornatsky was instructed to pay special attention to the issues of retrofitting type II and III forest fire stations.
