Rosleskhoz discussed preparations for the fire season in the forests
Today, the Federal Forestry Agency held a meeting via videoconference on preparations for the fire season in the forests of 2022. It was held by the head of Rosleskhoz Ivan Sovetnikov. The meeting was attended by representatives of the forestry management bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including from the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, his deputies Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov.
During the meeting, issues of preparation for the fire season in the forests, the formation of forest fire units, the purchase of fire-fighting equipment and inventory for forest fire stations, and the conclusion of contracts for the provision of aviation forest patrol services were discussed.
Also, brief presentations were made by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Nature Management, and Forestry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Ministry of Natural Resources, and the Timber Industry of the Arkhangelsk Region, etc.
