The Ministry outlined tasks for the upcoming period at a meeting via videoconference
Today, the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference, at which the tasks for the upcoming period were considered. The meeting was chaired by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Aidar Gaifullin, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry, head foresters and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov and Head of the Department of State Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Akhmerov made presentations at the meeting.
During his speech, Rais Gumerov focused on the issues of preparation for the fire season in the forests, the upcoming inspections of the readiness of forest fire stations for the start of the fire season in the forests of 2022, and the sale of wood on the stock exchange. “During the inspections, special attention will be paid to the staffing of forest fire stations with machinery, equipment and other means of preventing and extinguishing forest fires, the condition of buildings and structures, the training of personnel and the availability of technical documentation regulating the work of the forest fire station,” he said.
Airat Akhmerov briefed the participants on the latest changes in forest legislation regarding the implementation of control and supervision activities. In particular, he pointed out the need to amend the job descriptions of forestry specialists exercising federal state forest control (supervision), forest protection on the lands of the forest fund of the republic.
