Specialists of the Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan are systematically working with preschool and general educational institutions on environmental education and upbringing of the younger generation
A student of the 11th grade of the MBOU "Gymnasium No. 3" of the Zelenodolsk district, Milana Tagirova, took part in office work on accounting for the number of forest pests in the branch of the Federal State Institution "Roslesozashchita" "Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan". The event was organized as part of the information campaign "Protecting the forest is our job" and an agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental education.
The data obtained by the student will be used to write a research paper on forest pests.
"Our branch continues cooperation with preschool and educational institutions of the district on environmental education and upbringing of the younger generation. Specialists conduct not only lectures, presentations, and masterclasses, but also individual lessons," said Venera Efremenkova, Acting Director of the branch of the Federal State Institution "Roslesozashchita" "Forest Protection Center of the Republic of Tatarstan". "As a result of joint work, students have repeatedly become prize-winners and winners of various conferences and subject Olympiads."
