Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov made a working trip to Muslyumovsky and Yutazinsky municipal districts
Today, Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Rais Gumerov made a working trip to Muslyumovsky and Yutazinsky municipal districts. There, he held meetings to prepare for the 2022 forest fire season.
In the Muslyumovsky district, the meeting took place in the administration building in the village. Muslyumovo, the deputy head of the municipal district Azat Akhmetzyanov took part in it.
Ilnar Akhmetgaliev, head of the forest ranger of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Menzelinsky Forestry”, made the keynote speech. “Today, the total area of forest fund lands of the forestry is 72,000 hectares. Of these, 26.5 thousand hectares are located within the boundaries of the Muslyumovsky district,” he said. “Currently, preparations for the fire season in the forests are in full swing. Some organizational and administrative documents have been issued, forest fire stations and points of concentration of fire fighting equipment have been checked, routes and procedures for ground patrolling of forests have been approved, and 6 volunteer fire brigades have been formed.”
“Agitation and explanatory work is also being carried out among the population on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests, meetings are held with the heads of rural settlements, information letters are sent out,” added Ilnar Akhmetgaliev.
In the Yutazinsky district, the meeting was held in the administration in the village of Yutaza. It was attended by the head of the executive committee of the municipal district Svetlana Samonina, heads and specialists of subordinate institutions, representatives of the district agricultural administration, heads of rural settlements.
Gulnara Mukhametkhanova, head of the forest ranger of the State Institution of Public Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Bugulminsky Forestry”, informed about the preparations for the fire hazard period. She dwelled on the issues of patrolling the lands of the forest fund, the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, conducting forest fire propaganda, etc.
Summing up the results of the meeting, Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov emphasized the need to explain to the citizens of paragraph 10 of the fire safety rules in forests, namely, the need to clean the areas adjacent to the forest from the day the snow cover melts from dry grassy vegetation, crop residues, deadwood, logging residues or separation forests with a fire-resistant mineralized strip or other fire barriers.
