The forest master of the Iske-Kazan district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny forestry” Farit Akhmetgaraev conducted a lesson on the topic “Forests are the property of Russia” for students of grades 8-10 of the MBOU “Mulminsky secondary school” of the Vysokogorsky district. Within its framework, he told the children about forests, their invaluable functions, the activities of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, and its subordinate institutions.
“The main task of forest industry specialists is to preserve and increase forest resources for the benefit of present and future generations. This is a very important and responsible mission,” said Farit Akhmetgarayev. “In total, about 2.5 thousand people are currently guarding the forest.”
At the end of the lesson, the master of the forest reminded the students about the rules of fire and sanitary safety in the forests.
