Airat Vakhitov, district forester of the Sarmanovsky district forestry of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aznakaevsky forestry” held a lesson on the topic “The role of the forest in nature and human life” in the Sarmanovsky secondary school of the Sarmanovsky district. During the lesson, Airat Vakhitov told the students about the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, the activities of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, and its subordinate institutions.
“Forests are called the “lungs of the planet” for a reason. Each leaf, each blade of grass is a small factory, where complex transformations take place under the influence of sunlight and heat, ending with the release of oxygen,” said the district forester. “Forests also support the full flow of rivers, streams, reservoirs, soften and humidify the climate of the surrounding area. In addition, the forest is a filter that cleans the air from dust and soot, a source of berries, mushrooms, medicinal plants, and material values.”
At the end of the meeting, Airat Vakhitov spoke about the professions of the forest industry, the existing measures to support young professionals, invited the guys to get an education at the Lubyanka Forestry College or the Faculty of Forestry and Ecology of Kazan State Agrarian University.
