The Ministry of Forestry Republic of Tajikistan held a working meeting with the heads of subordinate agencies

The main issue on the agenda of the meeting - preventive measures aimed at forest health. The consequences of the drought in 2010 and the low winter temperatures 2011-2012. had a negative impact on spruce and birch stands, which led to their shrinkage, particularly in the south-eastern and northern regions of Tatarstan. The meeting instructed about the sanitary and health measures on the areas damaged plantations and order release of dead wood on the citizens' own needs.
