Arsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed issues of preparation for the fire and silvicultural seasons of 2022
Today, in the Arsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, the results of the work of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry enterprise” in 2021 and issues of preparation for the upcoming fire and silvicultural seasons were discussed. The meeting was held in the administration building in Arsk, it was attended by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, the head of the municipal district Ilshat Nuriev, heads and specialists of subordinate institutions, representatives of the district agricultural administration, heads of rural settlements.
The chief forest warden Shamil Khairullin delivered the keynote speech at the meeting. He spoke about the forestry, forest protection, forestry, and logging work carried out in 2021, the preparations for the environmental campaigns “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”, “Garden of Memory” and the main tasks for the upcoming period.
“In preparation for the fire season in the forests, a plan was developed to extinguish forest fires on the territory of the Arsky forestry, forest fire formations were formed, and routes for ground patrolling of forest fund lands were approved,” said Shamil Khairullin. “We will make every effort to get through the fire period without emergencies.”
Further, the director of the forestry enterprise Niyaz Salyakhov and the chief economist of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Arsky forestry”, the chairman of the primary trade union organization Nadiya Ziganshina made presentations.
Summing up the results of the meeting, Minister Ravil Kuzyurov thanked the specialists of subordinate institutions for the well-coordinated, fruitful work last year. “According to statistics, more than 90% of forest fires are caused by humans. Therefore, one of the most important tasks is to inform the population about the requirements of fire safety rules in forests,” he stressed. “I also ask you to pay special attention to the issues of preparation for reforestation.”
