In Kazan, a review was held of the readiness of the authorities and forces of the functional and territorial subsystems of the Unified State System for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations (RSChS) of the Republic of Tatarstan to ensure the accident-free passage of spring floods and the protection of settlements, economic facilities and social infrastructure from wildfires.
The main purpose of the review is to check the readiness of personnel and the technical condition of special equipment to eliminate seasonal risks. The parade was held by the first deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, Colonel of the Internal Service Irek Kadamov.
Structural subdivisions of various ministries, departments, organizations, and local governments involved in emergency response presented machinery and equipment intended for rescue, restoration, and other urgent work, evacuation of people. Thus, an airmobile group of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan, rescuers, firefighters, specialists from the Civil Protection Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan, gas and energy workers, employees of Vodokanal, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard, doctors of the Ministry of Health, representatives of the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Ecology and Rospotrebnadzor took part in the review. In total, a grouping of forces and means from the territorial subsystem of the RSChS was involved in the amount of 107 people and 41 pieces of equipment.
During the review, the availability and condition of rescue equipment, the readiness of equipment for emergency rescue, and other urgent work were checked. The leaders of the formations reported on the tasks, functional responsibilities, and readiness for action in emergencies.
According to the results of the review of the readiness of forces and means to perform tasks for their intended purpose during spring floods and natural fires, the head of the operational planning department of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry for the Republic of Tatarstan, Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Ilnur Gizatullin, announced the results. “The personnel of the formations is trained, the equipment is in good order, they are ready for actions as intended,” he said.
