In the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aksubayevsky forestry” completed the harvesting of cuttings of hardwood trees. “In total, 30 thousand pieces of poplar cuttings Hybrid-38 were harvested, 15 people were involved in the work,” said the director of the forestry enterprise Sergey Kuznetsov. “The cuttings will be planted in the school branch of the nursery, and then used for laying protective forest plantations.”
It is expected that this year the silvicultural season will be open on April 15-20. According to Sergey Kuznetsov, within the framework of the project, work will be carried out on the territory of Aksubaevsky forestry on an area of 51.6 hectares, addition of forest crops - on 74 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest crops - on 250 hectares, sowing seeds in basic forest nurseries - on 0.4 ha.
