Today, forest industry specialists held events dedicated to the International Day of Birds in preschool institutions of the republic.
Thus, employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Yelabuzhsky forestry” held a lecture on the topic “Birds are our friends” in the MBDOU “Kindergarten No. 18 “Lastochka” of the Yelabuga region. Within its framework, the children learned about the forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, bird species, and their role in nature.
Specialists of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky forestry”, together with representatives of the Municipal Institution “Education Department” of the Nurlat District, presented awards to the winners and prize-winners of the regional competition “The Best Birdhouse and Bird Feeder”. The event was held in the city of Nurlat in the square “Teatralny”. In total, this competition received more than 170 works from pupils of preschool institutions.
International Birds Day is an environmental holiday celebrated annually on April 1st. Its goal is to preserve the species diversity and abundance of birds.
