The Ministry discussed issues of preparation for the fire season in the forests at a meeting via videoconference
Today, the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference on preparations for the fire season in the forests of 2022. It was held by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Rais Gumerov, heads of forestries, and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
During the meeting, the issues of patrolling the lands of the forest fund, carrying out a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, additional staffing of forest fire stations, etc. were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov instructed the heads of the forestry departments to carry out systematic propaganda and explanatory work among the population on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests. “The results of the audit conducted by the Department of Forestry in the Volga Federal District showed that the Ministry and its subordinate agencies are ready for the fire season in the forests of 2022,” he said. “Nevertheless, I ask everyone to intensify work in all areas.”
