The work is carried out within the framework of the regional project “Preservation of forests in the Republic of Tatarstan” of the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”.
“In total, 4 million seeds of pine, spruce, and birch will be sown within the first rotation,” said Azat Zinnatullin, director of the center. “7 people are involved in the work, we plan to complete the sowing in 8 days.”
According to him, seedlings will grow in greenhouses until the end of May, after which it is planned to transfer them to growing fields. In parallel, work will be carried out on sowing the second rotation of seeds.
Recall that the production of standard planting material is an additional indicator of the regional project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology”. In total, this year it is necessary to grow at least 30.9 million pieces. seedlings.
