In the Verkhneuslonsky municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, issues of preparation for the upcoming fire and silvicultural seasons were considered
Today, a meeting was held in the administration building in the village of Verkhny Uslon on preparations for the fire hazardous and silvicultural seasons of 2022. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov, the head of the Verkhneuslonsky municipal district Marat Ziatdinov, heads and specialists of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhsky forestry”, the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhsky forestry enterprise”, representatives of the regional department of agriculture and food, heads of rural settlements.
Rustem Ismagilov, Head of the State Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Privolzhsky forestry”, made the keynote speech. He dwelled on the issues of patrolling the lands of the forest fund, the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, conducting forest fire propaganda, etc.
“As part of the silvicultural campaign, reforestation and afforestation on an area of 31 hectares will be carried out on the territory of the forestry. There are 133,000 pieces of standard planting material for planting,” Rustem Ismagilov said. “Also, preparations are currently underway for the environmental campaigns “Clean Forests of Tatarstan” and “Garden of Memory”.
Summing up the results of the meeting, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov gave specialists several instructions related to the implementation of forest protection, sanitary and recreational activities, etc. “The fire season in the forests will open this month. It is necessary to strengthen control over fire safety, especially in May, on holidays and weekends,” he stressed.
