Competitions “The best school forestry of the municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan” are held in the republic
In the Republic of Tatarstan, competitions “The best school forestry of the municipal region of the Republic of Tatarstan” are held. They are organized by subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - forestries and district departments of education.
Competitions are held in 2 stages: qualifying (in general educational institutions) and main (in subordinate institutions of the Ministry).
During the competition, the activities of pupils of school forestries are evaluated in the following areas: “Reforestation” (participation in planting trees and shrubs, harvesting seeds of forest plants), “Protection and preservation of the forest” (participation in activities to protect forests from fires, protect against pests and diseases, cleaning up the territory of the forest fund, making and hanging artificial nests for birds), “Educational activities” (conducting talks, lectures, seminars, conferences on environmental topics), “Organization of school forestry activities” (development of author's educational programs, conducting research activities, forestry work in school areas, etc.).
The winners of the contests will be determined at the end of May this year. They will be awarded certificates of honor, and memorable prizes and will become participants in the V Meeting of School Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, which will be held in July 2022 at the Lubyanka Forestry College.
