Today, the First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ilgizar Zaripov, made a working trip to the Almetyevsk municipal district. There he held a meeting on the results of the work of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Almetyevsky Forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Almetyevsky Forestry Enterprise” for the 1st quarter of 2022. The meeting took place based on the administrative building of the forestry.
The chief forest ranger Rushan Mukhametshin made the keynote speech. He spoke about the preparations for the fire-hazardous and silvicultural seasons of 2022, the environmental campaigns “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”, “Garden of Memory”, etc.
“As part of the silvicultural campaign, work will be carried out on reforestation on an area of 48 hectares, agrotechnical care for forest crops on 340 hectares, and addition of forest crops on 102 hectares,” Rushan Mukhametshin said. “Also, at least 325 kg of seeds will be harvested and 665,000 seedlings will be grown. In general, we are ready for silvicultural work, we are waiting for the snow cover to melt.”
Summing up the results of the meeting, First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov gave specialists several instructions related to the implementation of sanitary and recreational activities, the implementation of forest protection, the laying of protective forest plantations, etc. “It is also necessary to pay special attention to the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests by citizens, individual entrepreneurs, and legal entities,” he stressed. “April 20 will open the fire season in the forests. Every effort must be made to minimize the chance of wildfires.”
