Issues of ensuring fire safety in forests were discussed at the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”
Based on the forest fire stations of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center”, located in the cities of Laishev and Leninogorsk, meetings were held before the start of the fire season in the forests of 2022. Heads of the LPS II and III types of the republic took part in their work.
During the meetings, the issues of organizing the work of the forest fire station during the fire season in forests, the implementation of a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, conducting propaganda and explanatory work among the population on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests were considered. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the provisions of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 19, 2019 No. 1605-r in terms of equipping the fire station with fire-fighting equipment, inventory, and other means of preventing and extinguishing forest fires.
Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Aidar Gaifullin drew the attention of the heads of the forest fire station to the need for systemic interaction with the territorial divisions of the Main Directorate of the EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Tatarstan, administrations of municipal districts and rural settlements. “In the coming days, with the establishment of stable dry weather, the fire season in the forests will open. It is our responsibility to prevent the occurrence of forest fires and other emergencies,” he stressed.
