In the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Aksubayevsky Forestry”, they completed the laying of cuttings of deciduous trees in the school department of the basic forest nursery. “In total, 30,000 pieces of poplar cuttings Hybrid-38 were planted,” said the director of the forestry enterprise Sergey Kuznetsov. “Next year they will be used to create protective forest plantations.”
According to him, at present, the institution is digging up standard planting material. “To date, 15,000 seedlings have been excavated. We plan to start work on reforestation in 5-7 days,” Sergey Kuznetsov added.
In total, within the framework of the silvicultural season on the territory of the Aksubayevsky forestry, work will be carried out on reforestation and afforestation on an area of 26.6 hectares, addition of forest plantations - on 74 hectares, agrotechnical care of forest cultures - on 250 hectares, laying of ravine-gully forest plantations - on 25 ha.
