In 2022, protective forest plantations will be laid in Tatarstan on an area of 1838 hectares
In 2022, protective forest plantations will be planted in the Republic of Tatarstan on an area of 1838 hectares. Of these, ravine-gully - 1685 hectares, field-protective forest plantations - 153 hectares. The work will be carried out by specialists from subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan - forestry enterprises within the framework of the program “Development of agriculture and regulation of agricultural products, raw materials and food markets in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2025”.
Recall that today the total area of all protective forest plantations in the republic is about 145 thousand hectares. Over the past 10 years, such plantations have been created on an area of 25 thousand hectares, including 3.5 thousand hectares in 2021.
