On April 30, 2022, the International Action “Garden of Memory” will be held on the territory of the forest fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, timed to coincide with the celebration of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In total, 378 thousand seedlings will be planted on this day in memory of the great feat of 378 thousand Tatarstan residents who did not return home from the front to their relatives and friends.
Near the city of Kazan, the action will take place at 4 sites - near the village of Staroe Shigaleevo, Pestrechinsky district (Matyushinsky district forestry - 7 hectares), the village of Tarlashi, Laishevsky district (Stolbischensky district forestry - 5 hectares), near the village of Dachnoye (Vysokogorsky district forestry - 2.5 hectares ) and the village of Sanatoriya Kamenka (Iske-Kazansky district forestry - 2 ha) of the Vysokogorsky district (site coordinates: N 55.937674, E 49.261050; N 55.933160, E 49.332004; N 55.8014528, E 49.5507106; N 55.568590, E 49). 63,000 seedlings of spruce, pine and larch have been prepared for planting at these sites.
We invite everyone to join the campaign and plant a tree in honor of their hero.
The campaign starts at 09:00. Gloves, shovels, and seedlings will be given out on the spot.
