The Ministry discussed the tasks for the second quarter of 2022 at a meeting via videoconference
Today, the Ministry held a meeting via videoconference, at which the tasks for the 2nd quarter of this year were discussed. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov. It was attended by deputy ministers, heads of structural subdivisions of the Ministry, head foresters, and directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
Deputy Ministers of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilgizar Zaripov and Rais Gumerov made presentations at the meeting.
Ilgizar Zaripov spoke about the work performed as part of the silvicultural season of 2022, the preparations for the environmental campaigns “Garden of Memory” and “Clean Forests of Tatarstan”. In particular, he said that to date, reforestation and afforestation have been carried out in the republic on an area of 410 hectares, which is 27% of the plan. “Part of the work must be completed before May 15-20 this year,” said Ilgizar Zaripov. “I also ask everyone to strengthen control over fire safety in the forests over the coming weekends and holidays.”
Rais Gumerov dwelled on the issues of financial and economic activities of forestries, efficient operation of equipment, and labor protection.
Summing up the results of the meeting, Minister Ravil Kuzyurov gave several instructions to the heads of subordinate institutions related to the implementation of reforestation, patrolling the lands of the forest fund, conducting propaganda, and explanatory work among the population on compliance with the requirements of fire safety rules in forests. “All silvicultural work must be carried out following the established requirements within the optimal agrotechnical terms. Also, given some planned projects, this year we need to pay special attention to the cultivation of standard planting material,” he stressed.
