President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the International Action “Garden of Memory”
Today in the square near the railway station “Kazan-2” the International action “Garden of Memory” was held. The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov, and others took part in planting trees.
In total, 30 seedlings of spruce, larch, mountain ash, and poplar were planted on this site.
In addition, here Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with the project of the City of Labor Valor stele.
The appearance of the entire composition, including the landscaping, has been repeatedly discussed by experts in the field of architecture and design in Kazan. MBU “City Development Institute” has developed a concept for the improvement of the park near the railway station, which is proposed to be increased to 60 thousand square meters and landscaped, taking into account the proposals made. The image of the stele is an aircraft wing, made in a stylized version using riveted stainless steel, with translucent inserts resembling a St. George ribbon.
