In the Republic of Tatarstan, work continues on the laying and renovation of fire-prevention mineralized strips. According to specialists from the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, as of May 5 this year, 1825 km of new lanes (76% of the plan) were created and the existing barriers with a total length of 3837 km (80%) were maintained. Employees of Aznakaevsky, Alkeevsky, Almetevsky, Arsky, Bavlinsky, Bilyarsky, Bolgarsky, Zainsky, Kaibitsky, Kaleykinsky, Kzyl-Yulduzsky, Lubyansky, Menzelinsky, Nizhnekamsky, Privolzhsky, Sabinsky and Cheremshansky forestries of the republic completed the work.
Recall that this year in the republic, as part of a set of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, work will also be carried out on the construction and reconstruction of fire-fighting roads, the improvement of recreation areas for citizens staying in the forests and the installation of information stands, full houses and billboards on fire-fighting topics.
