Pupils of the school forestry “Lesovichok” MBOU “Cheremshansky lyceum” of the Cheremshansky district laid cuttings of a silvery pyramidal poplar in the school nursery. The event was organized as part of the environmental project “Trees - the filter of our village”.
“The silver pyramidal poplar is a beautiful and unpretentious tree that is safe for allergy sufferers as it does not produce fluff. Poplar is also a real air orderly. In summer, one tree absorbs 45 kilograms of carbon dioxide and captures about 10 kilograms of dust,” said Askar Mustafin, a member of the Lesovichok association. “In the future, as part of the project, we plan to take care of the seedlings and then plant them in the village of Cheremshan.”
