Forest industry specialists shared their experience with trade unions at a meeting of the Presidium of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of State Institutions and Public Services of the Russian Federation
Today the Palace of Labor hosted the 11th meeting of the Presidium of the Tatarstan Republican Organization of the All-Russian Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Services Workers of the Russian Federation. One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting was the experience of the primary trade union organizations of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tajikistan and its subordinate institutions in the field of creating safe working conditions, as well as exercising public control over compliance with labor protection and safety requirements.
Reports at the meeting were made by the leading adviser of the department of property management, technical development, and labor protections of the Ministry Insaf Ikhsanov, head-forester of the GKU RT “Kzyl-Yulduzsky forestry” Niyaz Tazmeev, and specialist in personnel of the GKU RT “Zelenodolsky forestry”, chairman of the primary trade union organization Nafisa Sharipova. In their speeches, they spoke about the activities of labor protection committees, measures taken to improve working conditions, preventive measures taken to preserve and improve the health of workers, etc.
In particular, Niyaz Tazmeev, head of the GKU RT “Kzyl-Yulduzsky Forestry”, said that in 2021 new equipment was purchased and installed in the woodworking shop of the Kyzyl-Yulduz forestry. “As a result, dust in the workplace has been reduced,” he said. “We also pay special attention to training responsible persons in labor protection, briefings, and providing specialists with special clothing and other personal protective equipment.”
