Results of the International Action “Garden of Memory” in 2022: over 1.2 million seedlings planted in Tatarstan
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the International Action “Garden of Memory”, dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In total, more than 1.2 million trees were planted in the Republic of Tatarstan as part of the action in memory of the great feat of 378 thousand Tatarstan residents who did not return home from the front to their relatives and friends. Of these, 928 thousand seedlings were planted on the territory of the forest fund and 322 thousand seedlings - on the territory of municipal districts. 30 thousand people joined the action.
Recall that the organizers of the International Action “Garden of Memory” are ANO “Garden of Memory”, the All-Russian Public Movement “Volunteers of Victory” and the Victory Generals Memorial Fund with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Federal Forestry Agency.
The purpose of the action is to plant 27 million trees in memory of the 27 million who died during the Great Patriotic War.
