Unauthorized landfill liquidated on the territory of the Prigorodny forestry
Employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Prigorodny forestry” and the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Training and Experimental Prigorodny Forestry Enterprise” discovered and liquidated an unauthorized garbage dump in the territory of the forest fund of the Vysokogorsky district forestry of the Prigorodnoye forestry. In total, 5 cubic meters of municipal solid waste were removed by their forces.
“Unfortunately, we often record facts of unauthorized disposal of waste in the forest,” says forest ranger Ilnur Kashafeev. “But such landfills are dangerous not only because of the likelihood of fire, but they also cause significant damage to the environment. In total, since the beginning of the year, more than 50 cubic meters of garbage have been collected and removed from the territory of the Prigorodnoye forestry.”
