Agrotechnical care for forest crops started in Tatarstan

In the Republic of Tatarstan, work has begun on the agrotechnical care of forest crops. Employees of the Kama and Kzyl-Yulduzsky forestries were among the first to start the activities.

In total, in the current year, agrotechnical care for forest crops will be carried out on an area of 13.5 thousand hectares. The largest volumes of work are planned on the territory of the forest fund of the Menzelinsky (1162 ha), Kzyl-Yulduzsky (900 ha), and Kamsky (800 ha) forestries.

Recall that the work on agrotechnical care of forest crops is a set of techniques aimed at improving the conditions for the survival and growth of cultivated trees and shrubs by loosening the soil, destroying weeds, mandling plants, etc. The frequency of care is determined taking into account local conditions.
