Air patrols of forests are carried out in Tatarstan
In connection with the establishment of the III class of fire danger in the Republic of Tatarstan, aviation patrols of the forest fund are being carried out. Today, employees of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” fly around the territory on a Cessna 172 aircraft.
The route runs over the territory of the forest fund of 17 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The total length of the route is 815 km. Along with this, ground and space monitoring of the fire hazard situation continues in the republic.
Recall that the fire season in the forests of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened on April 25, 2022. According to fire safety rules, it is prohibited in forests:
- use open fire in young coniferous forests, in damaged forest areas, peat bogs, in felling areas not cleared of logging residues and harvested wood, in places with dried grass, as well as under tree crowns;
- throw burning matches, cigarette butts, and glass in the forest;
- leave materials (paper, cloth, tow, cotton wool, and other combustible substances) oiled or impregnated with gasoline, kerosene, or other combustible substances in places not specially provided for this;
- carry out burning of brushwood, forest litter, dry grass, and other combustible materials on land plots directly adjacent to forests, protective and forest plantations and not separated by a fire-prevention mineralized strip at least 0.5 meters wide;
- litter the forest with production and consumption waste.
Violation of fire safety rules in forests entails the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens for up to 3 thousand rubles, on officials - up to 20 thousand rubles, legal entities - up to 200 thousand rubles.
