Specialists of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky Forestry” took part in the competition of professional skills "The best feller of the forest - 2022"
The Republic of Mari El hosted a competition of professional skills “The best feller of the forest – 2022”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Environmental Protection of the RME and the Educational and Experimental Forestry (branch) of the Volga State Technological University.
The competition was attended by 30 participants from 7 subjects of the Russian Federation - the Republic of Mari El, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Karelia, Bryansk, Kaliningrad and Moscow regions. Tatarstan was represented by the team of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky Forestry” - fellers Nikolai Grishakov, Alexander Murtazin, Fidail Adeev and Elena Safiullina.
The contestants were greeted by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Mari El Konstantin Nagovitsyn, Rector of the Volga State Technological University Igor Petukhov and others.
According to the terms of the competition, the participants had to overcome two stages and complete a number of tasks. The first stage of the Forest felling was organized on the territory of the Nolkinsky forest area of the Educational-Experimental District Forestry, the second - on the site in front of the Ice Palace in the city of Yoshkar-Ola. The contestants demonstrated their skills in chainsaw replacement, delimbing, accurate bucking and bucking logs with a combined cut.
According to the results of the competition, representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan were among the winners. So, Elena Safiullina took 3rd place in the women's standings in the exercise “Forest felling”. Nikolai Grishakov was awarded the 2nd place in the "Precise Crosscutting" exercise and the 3rd place in the “Forest Felling” exercise. Also, the team of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Nurlatsky Forestry” won 2nd place in the exercise “Team Relay”.
It is worth noting that experts from Tatarstan acted as judges - Deputy Head of the Department of Property Management, Technical Development and Labor Protection of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Nizamiev, Leading Advisor of the Department Insaf Ikhsanov, Consultants of the Department Rinaz Mukhametzyanov, Ilfir Gibadullin and Director of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Tatarstan “Forest Fire Center” Aidar Gaifullin.
