Minister Ravil Kuzyurov took part in the celebration of Sabantuy in Alkeyevsky district
Today the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov made a working trip to the Alkeevsky municipal district. There he took part in the celebration of Sabantuy in the village of Bazarny Mataki.
The Minister greeted those present on behalf of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, emphasizing the importance of the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy.
“The ancient Sabantuy, which came from the depths of centuries, personifies the end of spring field work, expresses respect for the work of farmers, love for the native land. However, now, in the modern world, it has another meaning - it is a holiday of friendship between peoples, interethnic understanding and harmony,” said Ravil Kuzyurov. “I sincerely wish all the participants of the holiday good health, happiness, prosperity, peace, kindness and good mood.”
The head of the municipal district, Alexander Nikoshin, also greeted those present.
Further, awards were presented to distinguished workers of the Alkeyevsky district.
The holiday was accompanied by a rich cultural and entertainment program with the participation of creative teams, horse races, various competitions, games and sports competitions were held: belt wrestling, tug of war, running in bags, climbing a pole, lifting weights and arm wrestling, etc.
