Today, the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov held a meeting on the passage of the fire season in the forests. The meeting, held via videoconference, was attended by Deputy Ministers Ilgizar Zaripov, Rais Gumerov, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry, heads of forestries of forestries, directors of forestry enterprises of the republic.
First Deputy Minister Ilgizar Zaripov made the keynote speech. He said that according to the information system for remote monitoring of the Federal Forestry Agency, this year, as of June 15, 258 thermal points were registered on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. “8 air patrols were carried out with a total duration of 33 flight hours,” said Ilgizar Zaripov. “Air patrols are also planned for today, since class III fire hazard in the forests is expected in the republic in the near future, the air temperature will warm up to +28°C.”
In order to ensure fire safety in the forests, it is necessary to continue work on the implementation of measures for the fire-fighting arrangement of forests, the installation of shields and full houses on forest fire topics, the First Deputy Minister added.
Summing up the results of the meeting, Minister Ravil Kuzyurov called on the heads of subordinate institutions not to reduce control over the forest fire situation. “Due to weather conditions, we are going through a fire hazard period as usual, however, our priority task is to prevent emergencies,” he stressed. “I ask you to strengthen the monitoring of the fire hazard situation and preventive work with the population in order to prevent and suppress violations of fire safety rules in the forests.”
