Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan: within the framework of the “Clean forests of Tatarstan” campaign, 2.4 thousand cubic meters of solid waste were collected and removed from the forest fund of the republic
The Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the spring stage of the republican environmental action “Clean forests of Tatarstan”. Recall that it was held from April 18 to June 18, 2022.
As part of the campaign, 2.4 thousand cubic meters of solid household waste were collected and removed from the forest fund of the republic, 3.2 thousand cubic meters of dead wood and dead wood were piled up for decay. Also, the specialists of the forest industry have repaired more than 750 full houses, information boards and places of recreation for citizens living in the forests.
Recall that the Republican environmental action “Clean forests of Tatarstan” has been held since 2010. Its main goal is to create a favorable sanitary and environmental situation in the forests, to form an ecological culture and foster a caring attitude towards nature, to unite the initiatives of citizens, organizations, enterprises and government authorities in environmental protection.
This year the action will also be held in the autumn period from September 12 to November 12 of the current year.
