Today, the Ministry hosted a meeting of the Commission under the Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan on Combating Corruption.

The Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Kuzyurov opened the meeting and announced the rules of procedure.

Elvira Ziyatdinova, Head of the Sector for Civil Service and Personnel, responsible for the prevention of corruption and other offenses, made the keynote speech at the event. At the beginning of her speech, she familiarized the participants of the meeting with the results of anti-corruption monitoring prepared by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and a consolidated report compiled by the Office of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan on anti-corruption policy issues, on the state of corruption and the implementation of anti-corruption policy measures in 2021.

Elvira Ziyatdinova also dwelled on the results of the anti-corruption work for the 1st half of 2022. “As part of the declaration campaign, information on income and expenses was received from 54 state civil servants of the Ministry and 59 heads of subordinate institutions,” she said. “When submitting data, 113 consultations were provided on the formation of certificates.”

According to her, for 6 months of the current year, the civil service and personnel sector received 2 notifications from civil servants about the implementation of other paid activities and 3 notifications about the conclusion of an employment contract with a citizen who held a civil service position.

“In order to ensure the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations from threats related to corruption, the Ministry has a Helpline,” added Elvira Ziyatdinova. “In the reporting period, there were no anonymous complaints about corruption violations.”

Summing up the results of the meeting, Minister Ravil Kuzyurov gave employees a number of instructions related to strengthening the work on combating corruption, organizing anti-corruption events, etc.
