225 recreation places for citizens have been landscaped on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan
As part of a set of measures for the fire-prevention arrangement of forests and the federal project “Preservation of forests” of the national project “Ecology” in the Republic of Tatarstan, work has been intensified to prevent fires in the territory of the forest fund. So, in 2022, 225 recreation places for citizens living in forests were landscaped for these purposes.
“Prevention of forest fires is carried out in a number of areas, one of which is the improvement of recreation areas for citizens in the forest,” said Alexei Mosunov, head of the sector for the protection and protection of the forest fund of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan. “The creation of such sites allows minimizing the occurrence of “spontaneous” places of recreation and minimizing the chance of outbreaks of fires.”
Also, as part of preventive work, measures were intensified to install banners, full houses and information boards on fire prevention, distribute leaflets and booklets.
